Facilities

LSBM offers a range of facilities to students as a part of their education, including those in association with the Birkbeck College, University of London and University of London Union. Students can use all facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

*Libraries*: LSBM provides access to Birkbeck University Library. The library has a huge collection of publications, books, journals, databases and other learning materials to support the course. These libraries having computer work stations, Photocopiers, Audio-visual Equipment and separate study rooms. Students are allowed to bring their laptops to use while they are studying.
*Special collections*: LSBM encourages students to use special collections in the Birkbeck library which is a unique and diverse resource which supports academic research and teaching.

Computing: LSBM students are offered a wireless network service to students when they are on campus. Students can access the internet inside and outside the classroom. There is also a computer lab which is available 24 hours a day.

Cultural attractions: Students can join societies which are offered by LSBM and ULU to explore London’s cultural and social life. There are many events organized which encourage students to participate and explore the city.

Eateries: There are a few cafes and eateries on campus where students can hang out with friends during the lunch break and at dinner time.

Parks: Tavistock square and Gordon Square are the two nearest parks for students and staff to take a mid-day break. Tavistock square is an especially popular location for lunch breaks for students from many of the surrounding schools and colleges.

*Sport:* LSBM students are able to participate in all sporting events arranged by the University of London Union Sports clubs and societies. These clubs and societies are categorised into two different types: unique/niche or representative activity.
*Recreation:* LSBM provides health and fitness facilities through University of London Union Membership. With this membership students are allowed to use all the facilities of ULU, including the Gym, Swimming pool, music classes, acting classes, yoga, and dance classes, etc.
