British Accreditation Council

LSBM is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent and Higher Education. BAC accreditation is recognised around the world by students, agents and government officials as the mark of educational quality in the private sector. In addition, educational oversight by a designated body is now a requirement for highly trusted sponsor status. The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) has been recognised as a designated body for higher education providers by the UK Border Agency (UKBA). QAA's mission is to safeguard standards and improve the quality of UK higher education. QAA's aims are to:

• meet students' needs and be valued by them
• safeguard standards in an increasingly diverse UK and international context
• drive improvements in UK higher education
• improve public understanding of higher education standards and quality.

Review for educational oversight (REO) has been developed for private colleges of higher education seeking oversight by QAA and LSBM is pleased to confirm that its QAA review has been scheduled for 2012.

Newport Business School of the University of Wales, Newport

LSBM is an academic partner of the Newport Business School. With roots dating back to 1841, Newport is a full Constituent Institution of the University of Wales, and is recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing universities. In the National Student Survey 2006, Newport was ranked 4th in the UK got student satisfaction, and the Business School fared even better, being placed 2nd for student satisfaction in business subjects- a feat that was repeated again in the 2007 survey.

Salford Business School of the University of Salford

LSBM has an academic progression agreement with the Salford Business School. The University of Salford has a rich history stretching back to 1896. Salford Business School is one of the largest business schools in the United Kingdom  and each year welcomes around 3800 students from numerous countries. The School offers a wide range of programmes, underpinned by internationally-renowned research expertise and professional body associations.

CTI

LSBM is an academic partner of CTI. CTI is a South African based institution and a world leader in the IT training approach known as the Mastery Learning Methodology. CTI is well known for its practical approach to the learning of IT skills.

Chartered Management Institute

LSBM is a Registered Centre of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). CMI is the pre-eminent professional body for management in the UK. Established over 50 years ago, CMI has over 70,000 individual members and 400 corporate members who benefit from the institute’s knowledge and expertise.

Midrand Graduate Institute

LSBM is an academic partner of the Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI). MGI is an established private provider of higher education in South Africa. As a degree conferring institution, MGI has developed a reputation for academic excellence, career-focused programmes and exceptional service delivery. This has resulted in MGI becoming the destination of choice for a growing number of South African, African and international students.

Edexcel

LSBM is a Training Provider for Edexcel qualifications. Edexcel is a Pearson company and the largest awarding body in the United Kingdom that offers academic and vocational qualifications as well as testing to schools, colleges, and employers in the UK and internationally. Internationally recognised qualifications from Edexcel include: GCSE’s, AS and A-level, IGCSE’s, O-levels, NVQ and BTEC from entry levels to Higher National Diplomas. Edexcel was established in 1996 and now has over 1 million registered students taking BTEC qualifications in 45 countries.

CTH

LSBM is a Training Provider for Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) qualifications. The CTH was founded in 1982 and since then has been providing qualifications in tourism, hotel management and hospitality.

LSBM Distance

LSBM Distance is a leading provider of distance education in South Africa. Every year quite number of students are studying their undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business and IT through LSBM Distance PDEP program.
