Transportation

LSBM full time students are eligible for a 30% discount on Transport for London services. This privilege can help you in planning your budget. The discount only applies for travel cards covering the period of one week, one month or one year. You do not get a discount for a single travel.
London and surrounding areas are very well covered with a network of underground and overground trains as well as buses. Therefore getting from one place to the other is relatively easy. Buses are a more economical means of transportation, where a single journey costs as little as £1.

Students who wish to travel outside of London are also eligible for discounts on the national rail services routes. They will need to apply for a Rail Card.

Taxis

London is serviced by a number of black cabs and mini cabs. While black cabs are one of the most recognizable symbols of London and reliable means of transportation, they can be quite expensive. Mini cabs offer a more economical option but you must always make sure that your are using a registered mini cab service and book it in advance. Do not ever use a mini cab service that is not registered! Please contact the Student Services Coordinator for more information.
