Who We Are

LSBM is a vibrant and contemporary learning community that seeks to meet the needs of all our students by offering networking opportunities and a uniquely international environment. We are proud of our diverse and vibrant student body. In 2012-13 half of our students came from the UK, with the other half of the student body coming from across Europe and the rest of the world. More than two thirds of our students were enrolled on an undergraduate course and the remainder were completing a postgraduate qualification.

We ensure that our students participate as active members of the learning community. Every semester each student group elects a Student Academic Representative (STAR) to serve on the Student and Staff Consultative Committee, to ensure effective and timely communication between students and LSBM. As part of their duties the STARs are also included as full decision-making members of our Academic Committee and Course Committees, which help shape the way the College runs and the courses are delivered. We encourage students to engage with their studies and provide regular feedback to allow us to monitor and enhance our course delivery.

We offer a range of valuable services to accommodate the needs of our students and to help them adjust to London’s rich and diverse way of life, including:

  • an excellent location in the heart of London’s academic area of Bloomsbury, full of vibrant student life and close to numerous libraries, museums and centres of research, not to mention our proximity to the hub of business and finance that is the City of London.
  • a very welcoming environment of inclusivity and diversity
  • highly competitive fees; amongst the best value provision in the UK
