Dr. PETER WYNARCZYK (KEYNOTE SPEAKER):

Dr. Peter Wynarczyk is Deputy Dean at London Metropolitan Business School and has been a Senior Academic at London Metropolitan University since July 2007. Prior to this he was Reader and Field Leader for Finance, Economics and Accounting in the Business School at the University of East London (2004 - 2007). Between 1982-2003 Peter held a number of positions at the University of Northumbria (formerly Newcastle Polytechnic) from Lecturer II in Economics rising to Head of Economics and Resource Management.

Peter was a Subject Reviewer for the QAA and successfully led two reviews of provision at his former institutions. He has also been a journal referee, external examiner and Visiting Professor in the USA.

Key Teaching Areas

During his 30-year career to date, Peter has taught a wide variety of subjects in Economics and Business at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Macroeconomics, Political Economy, Monetary Theory, The Economics of Crime and Law Enforcement, Leadership, and Creative Thinking.
