About The Course:

The MSc International Tourism Management at LSBM will instil in you excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills and an in-depth understanding of the tourism, hospitality and events management (THE) industry.

Master of Science in Tourism Management

Completion of the course will develop and enable you to work in middle and senior management positions within various regions of the tourism industry such as destination management organisations, tour operators, travel agencies, visitor attractions, activities operations and events management. It is designed to promote and encourage the development of advanced management knowledge and skills.

Applicants include people progressing from undergraduate qualifications in the social sciences and humanities as well as from more applied and inter-disciplinary undergraduate programmes such as tourism management, hospitality management or events management. The course is also designed to meet the career and personal development needs of professionals from the public, private or voluntary sectors.

Start Dates: September (Autumn) and February (Spring)

Entry Requirements:

  • An Honours degree at least 2:2 or its equivalent in a relevant area; OR
  • Five years relevant work experience
  • Applicants from other backgrounds will be considered on an individual basis
  • For students whose first language is not English, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
