MBA in Public Sector Management

About The Course:

The MBA Public Sector Management at LSBM will develop within you the ability to analyse a broad range of approaches to the study of business and management and to critically evaluate the influences of controversial issues in the business environment.

This stream aims to provide a broad introduction to the field of public sector management and examines in detail a range of contemporary issues and challenges in public management practice, particularly in relation to the modernization of public services, joined-up government, community leadership, working in partnership, and engaging with people and communities.

Duration: 12 to 18 months

Awarding Body: Cardiff Metropolitan University

Start Dates: September (Autumn) and February (Spring)

Entry Requirements:

• Possess, or expect to obtain a first class (2.1) or equivalent undergraduate degree from a recognized university OR
• Have over 5 years of relevant management experience
• Hold a professional or other qualification which is deemed as acceptable for admission by the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff
• For students whose first language is not English, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
