The new LSBM Scholarship and Bursary programmes were launched in February 2008 for students wishing to undertake their studies at LSBM from September 2008 or January 2009. This fantastic opportunity is open to all students who have applied and are holding an offer to study at LSBM. To enter any of the programmes, students need to give their application numbers. The details of the two programmes are described below:

Scholarships
There are two scholarships available: one for Undergraduate students and one for Postgraduate students. The scholarships are based on academic merit, and we will look for good academic standards plus high level of English. Applications for scholarships are only available for prospective students who have applied and have been offered a place at LSBM. Students can enter the scholarship competition online; they will need to enter their application number and copy and paste an essay.   View the scholarship competition online - click here.

The UG scholarship - 50% off first year tuition fees
Requirements:
• Good academic standard of qualifications
• IELTS score of minimum 5.5 or equivalent

The PG Scholarship – 50% off the tuition fee
Requirements:
• Good academic standard of UG qualifications
• IELTS score of minimum 7.0 or equivalent

All entrants are required to write an essay of 1000-1300 words on this topic:
‘Studying for a Higher Education qualification increases your career prospects. Discuss.’

Bursaries
The LSBM Bursaries are offered to all applicants that hold an offer of a place at any course at LSBM for the September 2008 and January 2009 intakes. There are 3 bursaries per intake of £500 off tuition fees each. Students can enter the Bursary Competition online after entering their application number. They will be asked to take part in a short multiple choice quiz and also come up with a slogan to promote LSBM.  View the bursary competition online - click here.

Deadlines for Scholarship and Bursary applications are:
• 15th August 2008 for September intake
• 15th December 2008 for the January 2009 intake
