As an applicant to LSBM there are a number of
ways in which you can submit your application and the relevant
supporting documentation.
You can apply to the school directly, in
which case you should follow the steps explained in
The Application Process, or
you may visit one of our representing agencies which are
listed in
this web site - click here. It is the stated policy of LSBM that if you apply
through an agency it should cost you no more than if you applied
directly, although the agency may charge a reasonable fee to
recover their expenses associated with processing and shipping
applications to us. If you apply through an agency here are some
relevant facts:
The full first year's fee is required
before we can issue an acceptance letter and the associated visa
support documents
This deposit less a £50 application fee
will be refunded to you if your visa is refused
The application and its supporting
documents must be fully complete before LSBM can process it.
You must complete and sign the application
yourself and you must handwrite the “Statement of
Purpose” yourself. The agent is not allowed to complete or write
out either of these on your behalf.
We are required by UK law to have an
accurate and verifiable home address and passport ID page for you.
All correspondence will be sent via the
agency who should forward the letters to you. There should not be
a charge for either the letter or the forwarding service.
Representing agents can be a good resource to
assist student applicants in the sometimes complex process of
studying in an overseas institution. Generally speaking you can
expect the following services from a representing agent:
Providing information and answering
questions about LSBM for you and your family.
Assistance in completing the application
form and gathering the required support documents.
Advising about career opportunities in your
selected field.
Providing information about travelling to
and living in the UK.
Supplying thorough information about the
visa application and interview process.
